The corona virus epidemic has caused a shortage of hand sanitizer in the grocery stores. No worries! These simple recipes will help you make your own santizer at home for a fraction of the cost.
DIY Baby Wipes
1 cup water 1 tablespoon liquid baby bath soap 2 tablespoons baby oil or coconut oil DIY Gentle Disinfecting Wipes 1 cup water 6 tablespoons white vinegar 2 tablespoons dish soap or baby shampoo 6 drops essential oil (optional) Soak paper towels or fabric in solution. DIY Toothpaste
1/2 cup coconut oil 1/4 cup baking soda 10 drops essential oil blend (Thieves, spice traders, Onguard or Deliverance) 10 drops peppermint essential oil 5 drops orange oil Mis coconut oil in mixer and then add baking soda. After mixture is soft, add essential oils. DIY Liquid Hand Soap
½ of bottle with the Castile Soap ½ of bottle with distilled water 5 drops or more of essential oils (Lemon, Lime, Grapefruit…) 1 gallon of castile soap is approximately $40. You can make 32 ( 8 ounce) containers of liquid hand soap which is $1.25 per bottle. Ready made liquid hand soap costs $3.00 - $5.00 for an 8 ounce bottle. |
